We are looking for a Hands-on Electrical Supervisor to manage a team of 6. You will work purely on the day shift, while your team covers 3 rolling shifts, handling all maintenance and installation work in an industrial heavy engineering environment. You will probably spend 60% of your time in the office and 40% hands-on helping the team.
The role involves:
- Electrical installation and modification work.
- Fault finding and repairs on electrical panels.
- Troubleshooting and working on 400V AC and 24V DC control systems.
- Diagnosing and repairing 400V motors.
- Working with overhead cranes and handling motor replacements.
- Reading and interpreting electrical drawings.
- Ensuring all work is completed to the highest safety standards.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

Desirable Skills (Training Provided If Needed):
- Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) fault finding and programming.
- PLC fault finding and diagnostics.
- HV switching certification.
