We are looking for a Hands-on Electrical Supervisor to manage a team of 6. You will work purely on the day shift, while your team covers 3 rolling shifts, handling all maintenance and installation work in an industrial heavy engineering environment. You will probably spend 60% of your time in the office and 40% hands-on helping the team.

The role involves:

  • Electrical installation and modification work.
  • Fault finding and repairs on electrical panels.
  • Troubleshooting and working on 400V AC and 24V DC control systems.
  • Diagnosing and repairing 400V motors.
  • Working with overhead cranes and handling motor replacements.
  • Reading and interpreting electrical drawings.
  • Ensuring all work is completed to the highest safety standards.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience with 400V motors.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable Skills (Training Provided If Needed):

  • Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) fault finding and programming.
  • PLC fault finding and diagnostics.
  • HV switching certification.
