Salary: £50,000 to £55,000 plus Bonus + 33 days holiday + Company Car/Allowance.

Based from home, managing Sales Development to Civil and Consulting Engineers within the South East of England. The ideal base would be in the Essex, Kent or London area.

Ideally, you will have experience within the construction industry where you have participated in or led project contract discussions to secure new business. Knowledge of civil engineering detailing and construction techniques would be an advantage but not essential as work experience and attitude will be the overriding factor.

You will be selling an innovative set of environmentally friendly solutions mainly to Civil Engineers and Consulting Engineers, joining a close-knit team at a time of expansion (as we grow from 4 to 5 Sales Managers) to handle current demand and future potential. You will need to be proactive in your sales approach; however, you will inherit the area customer base and share a Telemarketer who will make some new appointments for you.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing external product and application awareness to contractors, local authorities, architects and engineering practices.
  • Minimum 2 years experience working in the construction materials sector with Local Authorities, Consulting Engineers & Architects on commercial developments/infrastructure projects.
  • Being highly numerate with sound contract and commercial knowledge, covering contract pricing, bids and tendering processes.
  • Experience in customer-facing roles within the construction industry where you have participated in and/or led project contract discussions to secure new business.
  • Ability and willingness to travel frequently within the southwest and Wales to fully cover the territory.
  • Experience of using AutoCAD, Civil 3D software (Desirable), Glenigan and Hubspot.
  • IT literacy with good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Home-based role with the ideal home location being Essex, Kent or London area. There is also a vacancy for Scotland.

Salary: £50,000 to £55,000 Negotiable + OTE & Car £6,500 allowance.
