What you'll do

- As the first point of contact for the People team, this role will maintain all administrative functions within the People & Culture function to support our Dorchester Collection We Care philosophy
- You will be responsible for supporting the People & Culture Team in administration of all people-related tasks and initiatives, sharing information such as vision, strategy, values, policies and procedures in line with company messaging.
- You will manage all corporate office employee data, maintaining a confidential filling system for employee files, correspondence, policies etc.
- You will be responsible for processing relevant information for the monthly payroll cycle, liaising closely with the Finance team
- You’ll support the Internal Comms & Facilities Lead in organizing office events including quarterly town halls, summer and holiday parties, and monthly canteen events.
- You’ll be tasked with the HRIS administration with support of People Systems Lead, including managing regular data audits for our various systems.
• Other tasks include
- Maintain a confidential filling system for employee files, correspondence, policies etc.
- Ensure all employee records and documents are audited and up to date on a regular basis, and maintain general compliance relevant audits in a timely manner in line with GDPR
- Welcome new starters on their first day, collate the relevant documentation, and ensure that managers have sent out the relevant communications to ensure a smooth induction process
- Administer and process the purchase order process for the People team, ensuring all invoices are paid in a timely manner, tracked and budgeted correctly
- Own the ordering and return of expenses for the people team

- You will provide administrative support to the Vice President, People & Culture including diary scheduling, expense processing and other tasks as needed

The hours of operation for this role are Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:30pm, based in our corporate office in Knightsbridge. You are able to work from home on Fridays.

- You can work autonomously, and are able to set and meet deadlines with quality results
- You are tech savvy and are able to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) with proficiency
- Familiarity with HR systems and payroll software is preferred but not required
- Strong numerical reasoning/basic mathematical skills are required
