What you'll do
As the Global Digital Experience Manager, you will be responsible for owning the digital estate and conversion journey across Dorchester Collection, ensuring the website, booking engine, and digital touchpoints deliver a seamless luxury experience that converts.
- Define and execute website strategy across all property and collection-level sites, balancing brand experience with commercial performance
- Own SEO strategy: technical SEO, content optimisation, and search visibility across traditional and AI-driven search
- Manage the booking engine experience and conversion rate optimisation (CRO), working with web developers, IT and third-party partners
- Oversee the e-shop strategy and digital retail experience
- Lead CMS governance: templates, standards, publishing workflows, and content architecture
- Own the development roadmap: prioritise enhancements, manage technical debt, and coordinate with developers and agencies
- Monitor and improve Core Web Vitals, site speed, accessibility, and technical performance
- Define measurement frameworks for digital experience (conversion funnels, UX metrics, engagement)
- Partner with hotel marketing teams to ensure property-level content is on-brand and optimised

What you'll bring
- Previous digital experience, website management, or e-commerce, within luxury hospitality, travel, or premium consumer brands
- Experience owning a website strategy end-to-end: roadmap, development partners, CMS governance, and commercial performance
- Deep understanding of SEO, AEO (Answer Engine Optimisation), and GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation), with measurable organic growth outcomes, plus CRO principles and UX best practices
- Experience managing booking engines, retail e-commerce (e-shop), digital commerce funnels, and third-party development partners; able to write a technical brief, evaluate a sprint, and challenge an agency on delivery
- Familiarity with schema markup, Core Web Vitals, accessibility standards, and CMS platforms (ideally Umbraco, WordPress, or equivalent)
- Data-literate: able to interpret analytics and make evidence-based decisions about the digital estate
- Experience working across multiple properties or markets simultaneously
- Experience directly line managing at least one digital or operations executive; able to delegate effectively, maintain quality standards, and develop team members in a support-function role
- Comfortable managing dotted-line relationships with hotel marketing teams, holding external developers and agencies accountable to timelines and quality
- High attention to detail with a quality-first mindset for the guest-facing digital experience
- Degree in digital, marketing, computer science, or related professional experience
