What you'll do:

As a Barback at 45 Park Lane, you will be a vital member of the bar team, working behind the scenes to ensure smooth and efficient service throughout every shift. You’ll support the bartenders and bar waiters in creating memorable guest experiences by maintaining a polished, well-stocked, and energised bar environment. In this role, you will:

  • Support the setup of the bar before service, ensuring all tools, garnishes, glassware, and beverages are prepared and presented to standard.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the bar and pantry throughout the day, ensuring workspaces are safe, hygienic, and guest-ready at all times.
  • Prepare daily cocktail garnishes, fruits, and ice, assisting bartenders with mise-en-place so they can deliver flawless, timely drinks service.
  • Possess and develop a working knowledge of the drinks and food menus, so you can assist the team and respond to guest inquiries when required.
  • Respond flexibly to guest special requests, and support the team with a calm, solutions-focused attitude when service demands shift.
  • Collaborate closely with bartenders and bar waiters, becoming an essential link in delivering the elegant and dynamic energy that defines Bar 45.
