The Opportunity: We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with at least 3 years of experience to join our team in our London office as sole DevOps Engineer. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and deployment pipelines that support our data-driven platform, ensuring seamless integration and operation of our services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and manage scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure on AWS.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment and monitoring of applications.
  • Implement and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform.
  • Manage and optimise PostgreSQL databases and other data storage solutions.
  • Implement cost-management monitoring and efficiency improvements.
  • Ensure robust security practices across all deployed services and infrastructure.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proficient in AWS services (S3, RDS, Lambda, EC2, IAM).
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as CodePipeline and Github Actions.
  • Strong understanding of containerisation and orchestration (Docker).
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools including Terraform.
  • Knowledge of security best practices.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Able to come into our central London office 5 days per week.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
  • Knowledge of GDPR best practices.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
