DoorCo is an established business that is growing and expanding rapidly in the supply and manufacture of Composite Doors. DoorCo Ltd is a leading manufacturer and supplier of high-quality composite doors, known for innovation, reliability, and outstanding customer service. As part of our continued growth, we are looking for an experienced and exceptional Warehouse Manager to join our management team and deliver warehousing excellence in our fast-paced operation.

About the Role:

The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for leading the efficient handling of products ensuring smooth coordination between warehouse, production, and distribution. This is a hands-on demanding and fast paced leadership role requiring exceptional organisational skills, leadership and a laser focus on safety, quality, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead warehouse operations at the Macclesfield site, including goods receipt, storage, and dispatch
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels of materials and finished doors
  • Work closely with production teams
  • Lead, supervise, and develop all warehouse employees
  • Ensure safe handling and storage of large, heavy, and fragile door products
  • Enforce health & safety policies and maintain compliance standards
  • Manage order picking, packing, and dispatch to meet customer deadlines
  • Conduct stock audits and implement continuous improvements
  • Optimise warehouse layout and processes for efficiency

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a warehouse management role, ideally within manufacturing or construction
  • Experience handling large or fragile goods (doors, windows, or similar products)
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Excellent organisational and problem‑solving abilities
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems and stock control processes
  • Exceptional understanding of health & safety regulations
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment
  • Experience from a fast-paced warehousing environment
  • Knowledge of Sage
  • Previously used WMS systems
  • Ability to be flexible as and when needed to achieve company goals
  • Continuous improvement mindset (e.g. Lean practices)
