Macclesfield | HGV Driver
DoorCo in Macclesfield is growing and we are currently seeking an additional HGV/Van driver to join our busy Transport team. The position will suit someone who enjoys a variety of work within transport and driving.
The roles will involve predominantly working in our 3.5T curtain sided vans as well as our 26T rigid HGVs, so a Type C licence is required, as a minimum. Working nationally, the roles offer significant opportunity for development. We are looking for people who are hardworking, flexible and enjoy working closely with customers.
Our induction and in-house training will support your transition to a new industry with lots of potential.
A day in the life of a DoorCo Delivery Driver will include working in a fast-paced family-owned company, facilitating the delivery of manufactured doors to trade customers, with customer service at the heart of our business.
This great Delivery Driver opportunity will require:
· You to be the face of the business, interacting with customers daily. You must be well presented and have customer orientated skills.
· You to be responsible for your products for delivery being safe and secure, including the completion of all relevant paperwork.
· You to be able to work on your own initiative.
· You to be willing to work flexibly to achieve customer runs.
The usual standard working hours are 05:30-14:30 with overtime available.

In return you will need a valid driving license with no more than 3 penalty points, experience of driving delivery vehicles, a strong work ethic and excellent customer communication skills.
