We are recruiting for a Crisis Response and Risk Management Consultancy based in Central London. It is important to mention early that this client requires 5 days a week working from their Central London office. There is also potential a fair amount of international travel, which is extremely exciting but doesn’t suit everyone’s lifestyle. Our client is a leading crisis response and risk management provider to the maritime, energy, and offshore sectors, with a growing ESG consultancy and service provider in the same industries. 95% of their work is acute crisis response on behalf of their clients. With a network of partners worldwide, they offer unique expertise in crisis response, supporting clients on a local, regional, and international scale. Their services include responding to and advising on numerous incidents annually, serving a large global client base. The company is independent, providing objective advice tailored to client needs. The Role You will be responsible for supporting the senior team with crisis response and preparedness for a range of global clients. Over time, with guidance from senior leadership, you will take on the autonomy to lead day-to-day responses. The company has experienced significant growth and is keen to continue expanding. This role offers the chance to help drive new business and support marketing initiatives to reinforce the company’s position as a leader in crisis response. Key Responsibilities: Provide strategic counsel to clients, both proactively and reactively, during crises Draft statements and Q&As for distribution to media and relevant stakeholders Manage client relationships to ensure exceptional service and awareness of all products and services Support the development of new business, including proposals and contract/fee negotiations Coordinate and support client media training for senior management and staff Utilise listening tools to create reports and analysis Mentor and oversee the development of junior team members Who We Are Looking For: The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a related industry (preferably within consultancy, agency, or professional services) with a proven track record of successful client engagement. The role requires independence, the ability to liaise with senior individuals, and mentor others.
