Salary: $20.00 to $22.00 hourly (To be negotiated) / 40 to 50 hours per week

Terms of Employment: Permanent employment, Full time

Work Hours and Schedule: Morning, Day, Evening, To be determined, Overtime available

Work Setting: Trucking company, Warehouse, Cross-docking facility

Responsibilities:

  • Build pallets
  • Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment
  • Operate a variety of equipment to load, unload and move materials and products
  • Ship orders
  • Weigh materials and goods
  • Wrap goods
  • Pack and unpack goods
  • Sort, crate and stack goods
  • Install, lash and secure goods
  • Store cargo and materials
  • Transport and distribute materials and goods

Supervision: 1 to 2 people

Vehicle and Equipment Experience:

  • Dollies and hand trucks
  • Strapping machine
  • Light trucks
  • Reach trucks
  • Industrial lift trucks and fork-lifts

Type of Industry Experience: Automobile and Trucking industry

Area of Specialization: Shipping and receiving

Security and Safety:

  • Criminal record check
  • Driving record check (abstract)
