The Role

The Streetworks Faults Administrator is responsible for coordinating and managing Streetworks activities related to infrastructure faults. This includes logging and tracking faults, liaising with contractors and local authorities, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining accurate records. The role involved significant communication and administrative duties to ensure smooth operations and resolution of Streetworks issues.

Responsibilities

  • Act as first point of contact for emergency fault calls, making sure every issue is logged, planned, and communicated clearly
  • Share job details with the right teams through group messaging, ensuring everyone ahs the information they need to act quickly
  • Pull together fault log updates into reinstatement sheets (RIFs) and upload accurate work instructions to our Works Management system by set deadlines
  • Check that all faults from the previous day have corresponding work instructions, chasing where necessary to keep reporting accurate and up to date
  • Review and confirm permit dates, working closely with clients to resolve any issues in line with Streetworks SLA requirements
  • Handle app submissions, photos and CAD drawings, making sure everything is logged correctly, attached to the right jobs, and shared with the clients or operations teams as needed
  • Monitor site compliance with Streetworks and Roadworks safety requirements, flagging any issues to supervisors and team leaders
  • Keep all records, spreadsheets, and reports fully updated and accurate to support performance monitoring and client reporting
  • Join performance meetings with your manager to review progress, share feedback, and raise any issues
  • Work with the Faults Manager to make sure all onsite teams are recorded correctly, ensuring the Master Faults Log is always accurate and payments can be claimed
