The Role
As a Marketing & Communications Officer, you’ll help shape how our organisation is seen and heard. From crafting compelling campaigns via multi‑media channels, you’ll use your creativity and attention to detail to bring our brand to life. You’ll collaborate with the teams across the business to ensure our messaging is consistent, engaging and aligned with our strategic goals.
Responsibilities
- Collate and publish case studies and news stories across social media platforms and the Group website
- Own and manage the company\'s social media strategy, with a focus on driving growth and increasing engagement across multiple platforms
- Liaise with Directors to support the development and execution of marketing and communications strategies
- Provide regular progress reports and performance updates to the Directors
- Collaborate with brand, design, SEO and digital marketing partners to ensure cohesive and effective campaigns
- Proactively identify and develop newsworthy stories, initiatives, and opportunities within the business and external environment
- Monitor and evaluate public perception of Doocey Group\'s brand and reputation, providing insights and recommendations as required
- Ensure all communications align with organisational goals, brand strategy and target audience objectives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media representatives to enhance and promote the company\'s image
- Conduct market research and analyse audience insights to inform marketing and communication activities
- Support the creation of consistent and high‑quality presentations and point‑of‑sale materials
- Assist with the preparation of tenders, award submissions and related promotional content
- Provide Business Development and Talent Acquisition team with relevant marketing materials
- Coordinate the design, production and distribution of in‑house branded items such as gifts, stationery and promotional merchandise

Technical Skills & Experience
- 1‑2 years\' experience in a marketing, communications, or similar role – ideally within a multi‑disciplinary or fast‑paced business environment
- Strong understanding of digital marketing principles, including social media engagement, SEO and content strategy
- Proficiency in using social media management and analytics tools
- Working knowledge of website content management systems such as WordPress or equivalent
- Competence in Microsoft Office applications, particularly PowerPoint and Word for producing presentations and branded materials
Qualifications & Training
- GCSEs including Maths and English at Grade 4‑9 or equivalent
- Full UK driving licence
