Working within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment, you'll be responsible for leading a production team, ensuring daily production targets are achieved whilst maintaining the highest standards of food safety, quality and health & safety compliance.

The Role As Production Team Leader, you will oversee the day-to-day operation of your production area, ensuring production plans are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
You will play a key role in managing staff performance, coordinating production changeovers, monitoring KPIs and driving high standards across your team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate and support a team within a food production environment
- Ensure GMP, food safety, health & safety and legal requirements are followed at all times
- Coach, mentor and develop team members, identifying training needs where required
- Monitor attendance, timekeeping, performance and compliance training
- Coordinate and complete production changeovers efficiently
- Plan packaging, labels, materials and tooling requirements ahead of changeovers
- Communicate effectively with Production, Packing, Prep and Engineering teams
- Ensure production downtime is minimised and resources are utilised effectively
- Escalate equipment breakdowns and operational issues promptly
- Complete production documentation and records accurately
- Ensure daily production plans are achieved and communicate any risks or challenges
- Support new product trials and launches within the area
- Assist with internal audits and continuous improvement activities
- Promote a positive team culture and maintain high operational standards
We are keen to speak with candidates who have experience in food manufacturing, FMCG or a fast-paced production environment., Previous experience in a Team Leader, Line Leader or Senior Production role
