Job Title: Apprentice AsLaid Technician

Location: Based out of our Tipton office, this role will require regional travel between sites.

Role Summary

An As-Laid Technician in civil engineering documents and verifies the actual construction details of infrastructure projects. As an apprentice, you will learn the key skills and methodologies required to become an As-Laid Technician.

Responsibilities

• Identify and complete daily visits by monitoring and utilising job packs received from the client, ensuring works are completed within the stipulated time and SLAs.
• Attend jobs and capture cable routes following company directives, ensuring completion as per standards and within SLAs.
• Manage workload efficiently by cross-referencing internal planners with client job packs, ensuring timely completion.
• Complete As-Laid log sheets accurately within the Works Management System within the required timeframes.
• Provide support across the wider team during absences or as needed.
• Submit full and accurate As-Laid Records to the client within 5 days of installation.
• Maintain company vehicles in a clean, tidy, and presentable condition.

Qualifications & Training

• Full clean driving licence
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• GCSEs Grade 9-4 or equivalent
