Donut Safety Systems is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive global outbound sales for our market‑leading Personal Controlled Descent Device, used across offshore platforms, rigs, and high‑risk industrial environments. This role focuses primarily on generating new business in international oil and gas markets.
You will be responsible for building pipeline, engaging senior decision‑makers, and securing commercial agreements in technically regulated, safety‑critical environments.
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth. Key Responsibilities- Manage the full new‑business sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, proposals, negotiation, and contract closure.
- Build and maintain a high‑quality pipeline with offshore operators, EPC contractors, and HSE managers.
- Identify and engage HSSE Directors, Offshore HSE Managers, QHSE Directors, and C‑suite stakeholders.
- Conduct structured outbound outreach using CRM and digital prospecting tools.
- Attend global industry events and offshore safety conferences to support business development.
- Prepare commercially sound proposals and provide accurate sales forecasts.
- Monitor regulatory developments (e.g., NR‑37, NUPRC, OPITO) and identify related commercial opportunities.
- Identify in‑country distributors and agents in priority markets.
- Ensure smooth handover of new clients and partners to account management teams.
- Creating an outbound sales strategy for the business.
- Proven track record of generating and closing new B2B business, with pipeline built from scratch.
- Experience selling into offshore oil and gas, subsea, energy, or safety‑critical industrial sectors.
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
