We are seeking a reliable and skilled Lorry Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely deliveries. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and adherence to all driving regulations. Experience with flatbed lorries is preferred, as well as a background in commercial driving.

Monday- Friday (6:30am- 16:30pm)

Responsibilities

  • Operate flatbed lorries to transport goods to designated locations.
  • Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing of loads.
  • Follow all traffic laws and regulations while on the road.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the vehicle.

Requirements

  • Reference from previous employer.
  • Valid commercial driving licence (C+E or equivalent).
  • Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role.
  • Familiarity with flatbed lorry operations is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of road safety regulations and practices.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently.
  • Good physical fitness for loading and unloading cargo.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
