We are now recruiting for a Site HSE Advisor for a long term contract role, working on behalf of our client, a leading renewable energy contractor, based on site in North Wales. Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry and onshore projects with activities in construction design regulation management and survey/investigation.
As Site HSE Advisor reporting to the Field HSE manager you will provide support to ensure the correct development, management, and improvement of the safety management system throughout the engineering and development phases (EPIC Projects) of a decommissioning and carbon capture project.
Responsibilities to include:
- Driving HSE awareness through workforce engagement and training
- Conducting inspections, monitoring subcontractors, and ensuring equipment compliance
- Managing risk assessments, Job Safety Analysis, and safe work practices
- Overseeing Permit to Work systems and hazardous material controls
- Reporting HSE performance, tracking KPIs, and supporting investigations
- Promoting environmental compliance and sustainability on site
Education: Qualification in HSE or engineering related field, Nebosh diploma
Certification: ISO 45001 Lead Auditor
