Environmental Co-ordinator required for a site based role, working on behalf of our client, a major EPCI contractor, based in the NE of England. Previous experience in a similar role, working on large scale onshore and offshore oil & gas sector projects is essential (minimum of 8 years experience).

As Environmental Coordinator you will be part of the Health, Safety and Environmental department. You will implement HSE environment management systems in an operational context following the Company HSE guidelines and standards.

Responsibilities to include:

  • Implement construction environmental management plan for onshore and offshore activities
  • Review and monitor Subcontractor compliance to environmental requirements
  • Management of site environmental issues
  • Coordinate and communicate with environmental agency, local authorities, internal company departments and relevant external stakeholders
  • Perform project environmental activities such as completing ENVID, Environmental Plans, Environmental Reporting including data analysis and Environmental Investigations
  • Complete onsite activities such as audits, training, regular inspections and produce reports and data

Qualifications & experience:

  • BEng or BSc in environmental engineering or similar.
  • 5-8 years+ experience in offshore and onshore oil & gas sector projects
  • ISO 140001 Lead Auditor
  • Technical environmental knowledge regarding UK regulation for onshore and offshore projects is essential.

Job Details:

  • Full time contract role - duration c 18m.
  • Location: Site based in NE England. Occasional travel to London will be required.
  • Rate: £600-650 per day - please contact us directly for further details.
