This is a full time in person role at our office in Derby.
Responsibilities- Manage supplier relationships, contracts and supply chain risks
- Manage procurement, logistics, warehousing, inventory and stores operations to achieve cost effective and efficient performance
- Lead, train and mentor the warehouse operative, fostering a high performance and safety focused environment, encourage continual professional development and skills efficiency among team members
- Ensure full compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Ability to add value by pro actively pursuing improvements and efficiencies which engage others
- Partner with sales, marketing and finance team to forecast demand and best plan supply chain activities
- Detail oriented, a perfectionist
- Exceptional communication, and inter personal skills
- Confident and capable of independent decision making with minimal supervision
- Strong organisational skills with a flexible approach to tasks
- Ability to adapt and remain calm under pressure
- A strong structured approach to problem solving
- An ability to build very strong relationships with external suppliers/manufacturers
- Flexible and a willingness to travel (including internationally) when necessary to ensure the success of your role
