This is a full time in person role at our office in Derby.

Responsibilities
  • Manage supplier relationships, contracts and supply chain risks
  • Manage procurement, logistics, warehousing, inventory and stores operations to achieve cost effective and efficient performance
  • Lead, train and mentor the warehouse operative, fostering a high performance and safety focused environment, encourage continual professional development and skills efficiency among team members
  • Ensure full compliance with all regulatory requirements
  • Ability to add value by pro actively pursuing improvements and efficiencies which engage others
  • Partner with sales, marketing and finance team to forecast demand and best plan supply chain activities

  • Detail oriented, a perfectionist
  • Exceptional communication, and inter personal skills
  • Confident and capable of independent decision making with minimal supervision
  • Strong organisational skills with a flexible approach to tasks
  • Ability to adapt and remain calm under pressure
  • A strong structured approach to problem solving
  • An ability to build very strong relationships with external suppliers/manufacturers
  • Flexible and a willingness to travel (including internationally) when necessary to ensure the success of your role
