Donneybrook Medical Centre is a long established GP Practice based in Hyde, Cheshire, with a list size of circa 8,000. We are seeking a committed and adaptable Salaried GP to join our multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality, patient centred care within a modern, evolving primary care environment. This role sits within a changing NHS landscape, shaped by increasing demand, workforce diversification, and contractual reform.
We are looking for a team player with the enthusiasm to make a difference to primary care. You will be working alongside an experienced and diverse clinical team to include 3 GP Partners, Salaried GP, Clinical Pharmacist/ACP, Practice Nurses and HCAs, with the support of Care Navigators and a large administrative team. We would be happy to appoint a newly qualified or more experienced GP and offer support, mentorship and clinical supervision to any new employee. We offer flexibility with hours and sessions (4 to 8 sessions per week) and a competitive salary.
You will be expected to:
- Deliver face-to-face, telephone, and digital consultations.
- Assess, diagnose, treat, and refer patients appropriately.
- Manage acute and long-term conditions in line with national and local guidance.
- Undertake clinical administration, including results, prescriptions, and correspondence.
- Work to agreed sessional structures, balancing clinical and administrative workload.
Main duties of the job:
Modern general practice requires flexibility, with sessions often combining routine, urgent, and on-call responsibilities. The GP will be responsible for delivering the full range of primary care services as part of the Practice, ensuring the highest standards of care for the differing needs of our patient population. You will work closely with the Practices multi-disciplinary team of other GPs, nurses and non-clinical staff to provide a high quality and accessible service to patients.
