We are seeking an organised, detail-oriented Car Sales Administration Manager to lead our Sales Administration team and support the smooth, accurate, and compliant processing of all vehicle sales. This is a key role within the dealership, ensuring customers receive an exceptional experience from point of sale through to delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the Sales Administration department.
- Manage, motivate, and coach a team of Sales Administrators.
- Ensure all vehicle orders, invoices, and financial documentation are processed accurately and on time.
- Maintain compliance with manufacturer, FCA, and internal audit requirements.
- Liaise closely with the Sales Managers, Accounts team, and external partners such as finance companies and suppliers.
- Monitor stock records, registration processes, and vehicle taxation.
- Produce and analyse departmental reports, identifying areas for improvement.
- Support new system implementations and process enhancements.
- Resolve administrative queries quickly and professionally.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in vehicle sales administration within the motor trade is desirable.
- Previous supervisory or management experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of vehicle invoicing, taxation, and funding processes.
- Excellent IT skills, including DMS/CRM platforms e.g., Kerridge.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
