Donnelly Group Belfast are looking for a commercially minded B2B Commercial Vehicle Sales & Account Manager to support and grow our business-to-business customer base. This role focuses on the sale of commercial vehicles, including new and used vehicles, leasing, and fleet solutions, while also requiring strong account management, analytical, and administrative capability. The successful candidate will manage the full customer lifecycle, from opportunity development and vehicle specification through to order processing, delivery coordination, and ongoing account support.

We are particularly interested in individuals who have gained experience in administration, accounts, customer service, sales support, or a similar business environment and are looking to progress into a commercial, customer-facing role. Previous experience within commercial vehicles or fleet sales is advantageous but not essential. The role suits someone who is commercially aware, highly organised, confident dealing with customers, and comfortable working with data, reporting, and internal systems. Full training and support will be provided to help the successful candidate develop their knowledge of commercial vehicles, fleet solutions, and B2B sales.

Key Responsibilities
  • B2B Sales & Business Development
    • Develop and grow B2B opportunities across new, used, and leased commercial vehicles.
    • Find and pursue new business opportunities while managing an existing portfolio of business customers.
    • Deliver a consultative sales approach, understanding customer operational needs and translating these into tailored vehicle and fleet solutions.
    • Present vehicle, finance, leasing, and conversion solutions in conjunction with Donnelly Fleet and internal specialist teams.
    • Manage opportunities through the full sales cycle from enquiry to delivery.
  • Account Management & Client Coordination
    • Function as a primary point of contact for assigned business and fleet customers.
    • Build long-term, trusted relationships with key decision-makers.
    • Coordinate internally to ensure customer requirements are met accurately and on time.
    • Proactively manage customer communications, updates, and aftersales support.
    • Support ongoing customer satisfaction and retention through structured account management.
  • Commercial, Analytical & Financial Support
    • Maintain accurate sales, customer, and opportunity records within CRM and internal systems.
    • Support pricing, margin awareness, and cost analysis across vehicle and fleet solutions.
    • Work closely with operations teams on invoicing accuracy, documentation, and reconciliation where needed.
  • Administrative & Operational Coordination
    • Ensure all sales and fleet documentation is completed accurately and in line with company policy.
    • Coordinate vehicle orders, specifications, conversions, and delivery timelines.
    • Ensure compliance with internal procedures and industry standards.
Skills & Experience
  • Essential: Experience in administration, accounts, customer service, sales support, account management, or a similar business environment.
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to understand pricing, margins, and customer value.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a demanding environment.
  • Full valid UK driving licence.
  • Desirable: Experience within commercial vehicles, fleet, leasing, or automotive finance.
  • Strong understanding of new and used vehicle sales processes.
  • Experience working across sales and operational functions.
