Job Description
- Be competent at sales analysis and trading for website and Wholesale
- Seek opportunities for growth and margin improvement
- Communicating with suppliers, placing orders and managing delivery dates and logistics
- Negotiate buy alongside MD, understanding componentry required
- Running weekly stock reports on Dear Inventory to manage stock levels, sharing this with relevant members of the team
- Sales and stock reporting and analysis. Week, month, season, annual.
- Manage out of stocks
- Deliver best seller reports for business to support buy depths, trading and general analysis
- Use Shopify reporting to help decision making process on web.
- Mange development, booking and delivery of stock.
- Ownership of critical path for new products, managing supply base for seasonal deliveries
- Deliver seasonal planning with support of MD. Produce company plans at weekly level from April 2025
- Keep detailed RP by season, using as company stock bible and reference point
- Pricing - timings and costings for in house products
- Comp shops to ensure our RRP’s are in line with comp and support in re sourcing product where needed.
- Costing and negotiating prices for externalsuppliers
- Raising POs, liaising with suppliers and Knit Shop
- Ordering materials and knitted fabric
- Managing priority list and QC for seamstress priority list
- Setting SKU and supplies up on system, putting stock into system, transfers etc
- Checking invoices from a stock point of view, raising invoices, raising manual invoices
- Shipping – analyse shipping costs, negotiate terms, liaising with courier account managers and negotiating best rates for wholesale and web
- Logistics - getting quotes for large shipments from Europe & China, arranging imports, handling duties
- Bespoke projects - point of contact for anything bespoke - having calls and email correspondence with customers, liaising with design and seamstresses, planning in sampling and production into our production schedule, costings timeframes.
- Wholesale pricing – setting currency conversions, creating pricelists and order forms for wholesale
- Researching anything .gov related, commodity codes, any import/export requirements and ensure all info is accessible and clear for the team
- Ordering any material or supplies for the production team and products (cushion pads, threads, zips, stuffing)
- Manage product cashflow tracker
- Arranging any testing, certification etc
- Licensing and royalty contracts - drawing up contracts as required, checking over any licensing agreements that come in, point of contact
- Setting up any new systems, processes, maintaining inventory system, contracts etc.
- Covering Web and wholesale roles when on holiday, or during busy periods
- Manage sample tracker to track stock
