To lead and be responsible for the day-to-day organisation of Children's Lane Ltd to include the provision of a caring, safe, secure and stimulating play environment for children between the ages of 4 - 11 years old, in line with HSCT Minimum Standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day management of the organization.
  • Plan activities.
  • Supervise staff.
  • Drive responsibilities.
  • Liaise with parents to encourage parental involvement and support of the Out of School Club.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • NVQ level 3 in Childcare/Playwork or equivalent (HSCT require level 5 enrolment).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience of working with children age 3-11.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Clean licence.

Desirable Skills and Qualifications

  • Level 5 childcare qualification or higher.
  • Relevant supervisory/management experience.
  • First Aid qualification.
  • Food Hygiene Qualification.
  • Experience of administration systems.
  • Competent in using computer systems.
  • Safeguarding Course.
  • Experience in forest school or level 3 Forest school leader.
