At Doncasters we have an exciting opportunity for a Wax Assembler to join our team in Chard, Somerset!
Hours: 0600 - 1400 Monday to Thursday and 0600 - 1200 Friday; 1400 – 2200 Monday to Thursday and 1200 – 1800 Friday.
This role requires a steady hand, sharp attention to detail, and manual dexterity as you carefully inspect and assemble gates to wax patterns. Using hot knives, torches, and hand tools that resemble the likes of dental tools, you’ll ensure each piece meets the highest standards. You’ll also work as part of a team, performing team lifts to flip and dip delicate wax moulds with care.
This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy working with their hands on very detailed and intricate tasks. If you’re into arts and crafts or enjoy working with small tools, you’ll excel in this position!

- Experience working in a manufacturing environment, especially casting environment is advantageous.
