The Role

Join Doncasters Trucast as a Production Team Leader where you will play a key role in driving a safe, efficient and high-performing production environment.

You will lead by example, ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures, site policies and EH&S standards, while creating a culture where safety, quality and operational excellence are at the heart of everything we do.

You will develop and motivate a skilled workforce, supporting the wider strategic leadership plan and empowering your team to achieve operational objectives.

Using departmental KPIs and performance data, you will identify opportunities for improvement, maximise shift productivity and take decisive, objective action where performance falls below expectations.

You will also be responsible for effective resource management, including controlling PPE expenditure and maintaining agreed budgets.

A strong focus on Continuous Improvement will be essential, with the opportunity to introduce innovative ideas, new techniques and lean ways of working that enhance efficiency and competitiveness.

You will lead Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Actions in response to quality concerns, ensuring issues are addressed effectively and lessons learned are embedded.

Alongside this, you will champion high standards of housekeeping and visual management, creating a well-organised, professional and productive workplace where your team can perform at its best.
