We’re looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join our team on a fixed-term basis, providing a broad range of accounting and administrative support across the Finance function. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience across management accounting, credit control, financial reporting and purchase ledger.

You’ll play an important role in helping the Finance team maintain accurate financial records, deliver timely reporting and ensure our finance processes run smoothly and effectively. On a day-to-day basis, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Support the Finance team with business-as-usual activities, including month-end processes, journals and other accounting tasks.
  • Take ownership of Credit Control for a small portfolio of high-value customers, helping to ensure payments are received promptly and accounts remain well managed.
  • Provide cover for the Purchase Ledger function when required, supporting the wider team and maintaining continuity of service.
  • Collect, analyse and consolidate data from a range of business systems to produce accurate and meaningful business reports.
  • Complete supplier and customer checks, ensuring new records are set up accurately within the business system.
  • Maintain accurate and complete financial system standing data, helping to ensure the integrity of our financial information.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across Finance and the wider business to resolve queries, improve processes and support the effective delivery of the Finance function.
