The Role
As a process engineer, you will ensure that our Nickel and Cobalt superalloy cast parts and processes are designed to meet customer requirements, delivering products with the desired quality levels and output rates. On a day-to-day basis you will:
- Design processes and tooling to produce parts.
- Collaborate with customer design departments to ensure parts are designed for manufacture.
- Preparation of technical projects with cost justification and timelines to develop and introduce new products.
- Lead and support on improvement initiatives in part value engineering exercises.
Interested?
To succeed in this role, you will:
- Hold an HND/HNC/ bachelor qualification in Material science, Mechanical Engineering or Foundry Technology.
- Have previous experience as a process or product Engineer in a relevant industry, Casting or Injection Moulding industry.
- Have working knowledge of techniques such as 8D, FMEA, OEE, Lean Manufacturing.
