Are you an experienced Tax Professional looking for your next opportunity? At Doncasters, we are looking for an Assistant Tax Manager / Senior Tax Analyst to join our growing Group Tax team. This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional to further develop their in‑house experience within a dynamic UK‑headed multinational business.
Working hours: 37 hours pw, Monday to Thursday 8:30 – 5, Friday 8:30 – 2:10

The role will be primarily UK‑focused, with an emphasis on corporate tax, while also providing exposure to a wider range of global tax matters across the Group. You will support the wider tax team with compliance, reporting, governance and tax advisory support on a range of group projects. Responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with corporate tax compliance processes
- Supporting tax provisioning and reporting
- Contributing to projects such as financing arrangements and transfer pricing initiatives
- Supporting ongoing process improvement activities
- Helping maintain effective tax controls, documentation and reporting processes across the business
This will include exposure to tax matters across different jurisdictions, working alongside the wider tax team and external advisors. The role will also involve supporting group tax reporting requirements and related data gathering and analysis. As the role develops, there will be broad exposure to a wide variety of tax areas, providing strong opportunities to build both technical knowledge and practical experience.
You will report to the Tax Manager and work closely with the Group Tax Director and wider tax team as well as finance colleagues across the Group.

- Experience in corporate tax gained either in‑house or in practice with experience gained within a Big 4 or other large professional services
- Prior exposure to international tax matters and US GAAP reporting is advantageous
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines, including working to sometimes tight reporting and compliance timelines
