Are you an experienced Risk Manager with an appetite to drive change? Can you help us to develop, maintain and test our business continuity frameworks? At Doncasters we have an exciting opportunity for a Risk and Resilience Officer to join our Group UK HQ team! This is a UK based remote opportunity.
Working hours: Monday – Thursday: 8:30am – 17:00pm, Friday: 8:30am – 14:10pm
Place of work: Remote to the UK with the ability to travel between 25-40% of the time to our UK sites and potential global travel.

The Role: As Risk & Resilience Officer, you will strengthen the Group’s risk, fraud, and resilience capability across its international operations. This role is hands-on combining global coordination with practical site engagement. You will lead fraud risk assessments, facilitate risk reviews across all business units, and support the design and testing of Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) aligned with the Group’s Risk Appetite Framework and enterprise governance structure.
Key responsibilities include:
- Enterprise and site risk reviews: Challenge risk identification, scoring and mitigation plans. Consolidate site risk themes for group reporting.
- Business continuity and resilience: Develop, maintain and test Doncasters Business continuity framework and crisis response plans. Ensure alignment of BCPs with customer, regulatory and ISO standards. Lead and maintain group wide fraud risk assessments and mitigation tracking. Prepare fraud exposure summaries and trend analysis for senior leadership. Collaborate with internal control and internal auditors to ensure risk and assurance activities are aligned.
- Training & Engagement: Develop engaging materials and communication campaigns that make risk management accessible and relevant to all levels of the organisation.
To succeed in this role, you will bring a passion for driving meaningful change and making a tangible impact. As this is a newly created position, it offers significant scope for growth and the opportunity to shape, build, and embed key processes. You will have proven experience in risk management, assurance, crisis management and business continuity, ideally within manufacturing, industrial, or global environments, and a demonstrated ability to conduct fraud risk assessments. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential, enabling you to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
