DCLT is looking for Fitness Instructors with a can-do attitude to join our highly flexible team. This is an exciting time to be joining the company as we commence with a significant investment programme of venue improvement which will offer opportunities to progress across the portfolio.

It is expected that you hold a nationally recognised Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification, and are willing to work towards Level 3 in Exercise Referral, to be able to take the responsibility of working in one of our facilities as a Fitness Instructor. The role can be in more than one area, including working on an ice rink, outdoor activity facility, or coordinating dry sports activity, or overseeing our Cycle Track Programme.

Professional development is expansive and will be focused on supporting you to reach your potential. You will work with the venue team to ensure the fitness and leisure areas operate safely and efficiently.

The vital role of a Fitness Instructor will see you working within a gym environment, welcoming customers front of house and ensuring cleanliness of the facility, helping our members achieve their fitness and well-being goals, and ultimately ensuring that every visitor has the best possible experience.

You are conscientious and demonstrate high levels of professionalism with a pro-active approach to your own and others’ health and safety. You will be an excellent communicator at all levels, who is able to remain calm under pressure and thrive as a part of a team. Taking pride in your work and your surroundings should be high on your agenda.

Hours: Shifts are a mixture of days, evenings and weekends with a minimum of 2 rest days per week.
