Located in and around Doncaster, our venues are at the heart of the community. The facilities offer a range of activities from swimming, gym and studio programmes, outdoor pitches, ten pin bowling and soft play, ice rink and cycling. As our flagship venue, The Dome remains a premium attraction in the area.
This role is primarily based within Choose Fitness @ The Dome. We are looking for an individual who leads by example and understands the importance of a team culture. As a leader within the team, we expect that any candidate would demonstrate excellent communication skills and possess a high level of energy with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service within a fitness environment. Previous experience in a supervisory or people management role would be preferred. Applicants must hold a minimum of a level two fitness qualification.
About the role: Whilst based in the Choose Fitness facility, the Duty Manager role oversees operational responsibilities for the Dry Sports facilities, including the sports hall and the squash courts, Doncaster Cycle Track, and The Choose Fitness studios all within The Dome. This role will involve Key Holder responsibility for the entire site, and operational cover across other areas may be required during busy periods. Health & Safety management is of paramount importance, as is providing strong and effective leadership ensuring every customer receives high levels of care and consideration during their visit.
Hours: Average of 37 hours per week. Work patterns will include evenings and weekends. The position shares management responsibility for all teams at the venue, throughout all operating hours across a rotating shift pattern.
