We're hiring at The Dome. We are gearing up for an extremely busy year, and as we reopen The Lagoons we are seeking exceptional Front of House team members to manage customer service in the venue.

The Dome is a venue of local, regional and national significance and we are developing a front of house team to act as ambassadors of service excellence and facility knowledge. Offering a warm welcome and seamless assistance to every guest. From supporting with admissions to responding to enquiries, you will ensure that every customer's visit is effortless, memorable, and personalised. Your presence at front of house will maintain a warm atmosphere and ensure an exceptional customer experience.

Position: Casual Front of House advisor

Salary: £12.71 per hour for 21 years + £10.85 per hour for 18 to 20 years, and £8.00 per hour for 16-17 years. Hours: shifts will be available on an Adhoc basis and will include evenings and weekends.

About this role: Supporting our Front of house managers, this position is the venue’s go-to resource for all visitors and customers, ensuring a smooth, memorable experience through delivering knowledgeable and exceptional customer service. Genuinely, no two days will be the same, from ensuring over 2,000 customers enjoy their swimming and skating experience, to handling customer feedback and everything in between across all The Dome’s facilities and activities. With responsibility for all aspects of the front of house venue operation, these are demanding and fast-paced positions which form the vital link between all departments of The Dome.

About you: You have exceptional verbal and written skills, with strong interpersonal skills, patience, and a service-oriented mindset. Previous experience in hospitality or customer service environment would be advantageous but not essential; more important is the desire to succeed and a warm, welcoming personality.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills

  • Knowledge of IT systems, compliance, cash handling and stock control
