Overview

You need a willingness to work to QCF level 2 in Social Care.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal and practical support enabling vulnerable adults to remain in their own home and access the local community.
- Complete basic movement and handling risk assessments and initial visits for individuals starting with the service.
- Be aware of and follow support plans, risk assessments, moving and handling assessments, supporting vulnerable adults to achieve their goals and outcomes.
- Support individuals when they need it, safeguarding them by reporting concerns of risk or if their condition or situation alters.
All duties and responsibilities must be undertaken to meet regulations and standards as set out in the Care Quality Commission standards and Care Act – striving for excellence at all times.
Essential driver requirement
You will need a full Driving Licence and own transport to be able to travel throughout the borough.
