We offer an opportunity for a Paralegal / Legal Officer to support the Senior Legal Officers in advising and representing the Children, Young People and Families directorate in various legal matters related to children and young people.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a busy legal department, preferably with some background in public childcare law. Responsibilities include managing caseloads, drafting documents, attending public law outline meetings (depending on experience), and liaising with Courts and professionals. Excellent communication skills and effective time management are essential.

The childcare legal team is supportive, dedicated, and friendly. Regular supervision and opportunities for learning and development are provided.
