You have an opportunity to be part of this in the role of Insight and Evaluation Lead with the Well Doncaster Team and part of the Thrive approach as a whole systems change model.

The Doncaster Growing Together Borough Strategy has set out to change the way that public services deliver community support. Our ambitions are being realised through our inclusion in two national programmes which will test place-based, community-led health and well-being approaches across Doncaster.

Are you passionate about using insight, evidence, and evaluation to drive real change?

We are seeking a visionary and strategic leader to establish and lead the Thrive Insight and Evaluation function, a brand-new approach to learning, improvement, and system change across Doncaster’s work and skills ecosystem.

As Insight and Evaluation Lead, you will be at the heart of the Thrive model, driving the design and delivery of a robust insight, intelligence, research, and evaluation function. Your work will ensure that evidence is not only generated but actively shared, applied, and embedded into practice, policy, and system transformation.

This is a unique opportunity to influence change at local, regional, and national levels, improving aspirations and quality of life across Doncaster’s five Thrive themes.

The Team Doncaster is passionate about working with communities to improve the health and wealth of individual, families and communities. We use a range of community centred approaches to address health inequalities across Doncaster. Working within our communities, with residents and voluntary, community and faith organisations to improve the wider determinants of health. The work is faced paced, evolves to meet the needs to communities and highly rewarding as we see positive change in the lives of real people.

Our work has been recognised nationally for our strengths-based approach for working with and for our residents. We are looking for an individual who is experienced in Community Centred Approaches, who can demonstrate a working knowledge of implementing community based public health approaches and has excellent interpersonal skills. Knowledge of Asset Based Community Development and key partners would also be beneficial.

Willingness and ability to travel around the borough to meet the needs of the service / role.
