You have an opportunity to be part of this in the role of a Senior Legal Officer advising and representing Doncaster’s Children, Young People and Families directorate in a varied range of children and young people legal matters.
The successful applicant will have experience in the relevant area of law and will be qualified as a Solicitor, Legal Executive or Barrister and will have previous children/family law experience including advocacy, drafting and negotiation skills alongside an established background of managing a caseload of care and pre proceedings public law outline cases.
The successful applicant will have good communication skills and be able to manage their time effectively and efficiently. The childcare legal team is a well‑established, supportive, dedicated and friendly team. Regular supervision is offered and opportunities for further learning and development are available and encouraged.
