This post presents an exciting opportunity to support the continuation of the Youth Hub Initiative based at Mexborough Business Centre. In partnership with DWP, the Youth Hub Initiative is an employment service which aims to engage unemployed young people aged 16-24, providing person-centred employer linked support, inspirational advice and guidance, which will enable a positive transition into sustained employment, resulting in social and economic mobility for people who are the future of our city and economy.
Responsibilities
- The successful candidate will lead the development and continued success of the initiative providing effective end-to-end employment support through the direct delivery of professional Information Advice and Guidance to groups and individuals.
- Creating and designing advancement interventions in supporting people with the transition into employment.
- Overseeing the contract implementation and achievements of related outputs, completion of management and contract reporting.
Qualifications
- Experience in shaping, implementing and managing employment support programmes including working with employers to enable progression and positive outcomes for individuals.
- Identification of new opportunities and employer recruitment and skills needs.
- Ability to demonstrate and maintain effective communication and mutually supportive relationships with all delivery partners, procured providers and funders.
