We are looking for a Digital Planning Product Officer to play a key role in developing and improving modern digital planning services, including supporting the rollout of innovative tools and emerging AI-enabled solutions. About the Role
You will bring your professional planning knowledge into the design, testing and improvement of digital planning products. This includes contributing to the development of tools that support the assessment and determination of planning applications, ensuring they reflect real-world Development Management practice.
Working As Part Of a Collaborative Team, You Will
- Provide expert planning advice to support digital service design and development
- Test and evaluate new digital processes using real planning casework
- Translate planning policy and legislation into digital service content
- Contribute to the development and testing of AI tools, ensuring outputs are accurate, fair and aligned with professional judgement
- Work closely with planners, digital teams, and national partners to improve services
You will also maintain a small caseload to ensure digital developments are grounded in real planning practice.
