We are looking for a Digital Planning Product Officer to play a key role in developing and improving modern digital planning services, including supporting the rollout of innovative tools and emerging AI-enabled solutions. About the Role
- You will bring your professional planning knowledge into the design, testing and improvement of digital planning products.
- This includes contributing to the development of tools that support the assessment and determination of planning applications, ensuring they reflect real-world Development Management practice.
- Working as part of a collaborative team, you will provide expert planning advice to support digital service design and development.
- Test and evaluate new digital processes using real planning casework.
- Translate planning policy and legislation into digital service content.
- Contribute to the development and testing of AI tools, ensuring outputs are accurate, fair and aligned with professional judgement.
- Work closely with planners, digital teams, and national partners to improve services.
- You will also maintain a small caseload to ensure digital developments are grounded in real planning practice.
