Are you passionate about developing the next generation of football talent? DN Colleges Group is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Football Coach to support and grow our football enrichment programme. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with learners of all abilities, helping them to develop their skills, confidence and enjoyment of the game within a supportive and inclusive environment.

You will play a key part in enhancing participation across the College, delivering high-quality coaching sessions, and leading our college team in both home and away fixtures.

Working Pattern: Wednesdays - 3 hours a week 1pm - 4pm

Essential Criteria:

  • Relevant National Governing Body (NGB) coaching qualification
  • GCSE (or Level 2 equivalent) English and maths
  • Previous football coaching experience
  • Experience working with 16–18-year-olds
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver high-quality football coaching sessions for learners of all abilities
  • Provide constructive feedback and guidance on technical, physical and tactical performance
  • Lead the college football team during league matches, AoC competitions and tournaments
  • Create a safe, inclusive and engaging training environment
  • Research and implement innovative coaching methods and best practice
  • Liaise closely with the Sport, Health & Physical Activity Coordinator and wider coaching team
  • Support initiatives to increase participation in football across the College
  • Officiate matches when required
