We’re looking for an enthusiastic Employer Relationship Officer to join our dedicated Employer Relationships Directorate. In this role, you will play a key part in generating new business, promoting apprenticeships and training, and strengthening partnerships across a range of sectors. You’ll be the face of the organisation for employers identifying opportunities, understanding workforce development needs, and helping businesses connect with the right training to support their growth.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Identifying and converting new employer leads into apprenticeship and training opportunities.
- Building long‑term, productive relationships with employers across the region.
- Promoting learning solutions through visits, events, networking, and marketing activity.
- Working closely with curriculum teams to ensure programmes meet employer needs.
- Tracking client engagement through CRM systems and producing reports to support sales activity.
Essential Criteria
- Experience in business development, sales, or employer engagement.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Competent IT skills, including use of Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage a varied workload effectively.
- A tenacious, results‑focused approach with genuine drive and enthusiasm.

Let’s Teach The LET’s teach programme supports new members of teaching staff in terms of college systems and key teaching and learning areas including new staff lesson visits and postcard peeps. Each new member of staff has an allocated Lead Practitioner who works closely with them throughout the programme.
Let’s Bloom
The LET’s Bloom Programme aims to connect our experienced and qualified teachers to share best practice and support continued risk‑taking as we continue to add depth to our teaching craft. Teachers volunteer on this one‑year programme, working closely with the Learning Enhancement Team, capturing their experimentation in a journal.
