The vacancy
Are you passionate about counselling education and ready to lead a dynamic undergraduate programme? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Programme Lead to manage and deliver our BA (Hons) Integrative Counselling programme at UCNL. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape the future of counselling education, working collaboratively across the DN Colleges Group to enhance student experience and academic excellence.
As Programme Lead, you will oversee curriculum planning, team coordination, quality assurance, and student engagement, while also contributing to teaching and learning. Youβll be joining a supportive and innovative team committed to delivering high-quality higher education in a caring and inclusive environment.
Working Pattern: Wednesday,Thursday (8:30am β 5:00pm) and Friday (8:30am β 4:00pm) 21.5 hours per week
- A degree in a relevant discipline.
- Minimum Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy.
- Experience of teaching or supporting undergraduate students.
- Strong subject knowledge in counselling theory and practice.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the operational delivery of teaching, learning and assessment.
- Manage programme documentation and quality assurance processes.
- Monitor student performance indicators including retention and progression.
- Organise student engagement activities to enhance the educational experience.
- Teach up to 750 hours annually (pro rata), with remission as applicable.
- Enrolment onto the Teachers Pension Scheme β 28.68% Employers contribution
