About The Role
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching in GCSE and Functional Skills Maths across a range of further education programmes. You’ll support learners through innovative teaching methods, effective assessment, and personalised guidance to help them reach their full potential.
Essential Criteria
- A relevant degree or Level 3 qualification in mathematics.
- A teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one.
- GCSEs (grades 4–9/A–C) or equivalent in Maths and English.
- Experience in a lecturing or training role within FE or HE.
- Subject expertise and knowledge of innovative teaching techniques.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lessons in GCSE and Functional Skills Maths.
- Develop curriculum materials and assess student progress.
- Lead and coordinate course teams and contribute to course verification.
- Support student recruitment and meet enrolment targets.
- Participate in quality assurance, curriculum development, and staff development activities.
