About The Role

You will teach and assess students across a range of Motor Vehicle courses, specialising in Heavy Goods Vehicles. As a Programme Tutor, you’ll support learners throughout their journey, ensuring they achieve their full potential. You’ll also contribute to curriculum development and maintain strong links with industry to keep learning relevant and engaging.

Essential Criteria

  • Hold a relevant Motor Vehicle qualification at Level 3 or above
  • Minimum Level 2 in Maths and English
  • Excellent subject knowledge and understanding of curriculum and qualification frameworks
  • Ability to manage behaviour and motivate students in a positive learning environment
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting equality and diversity

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning across Motor Vehicle courses
  • Act as Programme Tutor for a designated caseload of students
  • Embed English and Maths within lessons and promote independent learning
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and assessment
  • Contribute to curriculum development and build strong industry links
