DN Colleges Group is seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable HE Sport Lecturer to join our growing team. Based across our university campuses in Doncaster and Scunthorpe, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching and academic support on our Sport, Exercise Science, and PE & Coaching programmes, validated by the University of Hull.
About The Role
As a HE Sport Lecturer, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and innovative teaching, supporting students' academic development, and contributing to curriculum planning and quality assurance. You will also work closely with internal teams and external partners to enhance the student experience and promote our HE provision.
Actual Salary: £23,546.18 - £30,696.70 per annum
Working Hours: 26.5 hours per week (8.30am - 5.00pm)
Essential Criteria
- A degree in a relevant sport-related subject
- Minimum Level 2 in Literacy and Numeracy
- Extensive experience in the field of sport
- Strong subject knowledge and understanding of sport-related disciplines
- Excellent organisational, analytical, and communication skills
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality teaching across a range of HE sport programmes
- Participate in curriculum planning, programme development, and quality assurance
- Provide academic and pastoral support to students
- Contribute to student engagement activities and promotional events
- Liaise with external examiners and university partners
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to programme documentation
