DN Colleges is looking for 2 HE Quality Assurance Coordinators to join us across our college sites. The positions are permanent and full‑time, 35.5 hours per week, with a salary range of £33,787 to £42,766. As part of our central Quality Assurance team you will support and enhance the quality of our Higher Education provision by assuring academic standards, strengthening student outcomes, and ensuring compliance with external regulatory and awarding body requirements. These varied roles are suited to individuals who enjoy collaborative work across curriculum teams, understand the higher education quality landscape, and are motivated by improving the student experience within a local, community‑focused education provider.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support core Higher Education quality processes, including Boards of Examiners, annual monitoring and internal reviews.
  • Manage and support student‑related processes such as mitigation, academic misconduct and appeals, ensuring fairness and consistency.
  • Lead the collection, analysis and reporting of the student voice, including internal surveys and national surveys where applicable.
  • Liaise with External Examiners and partner institutions to ensure requirements are met and actions are followed through.
  • Maintain clear, accurate quality records and a Higher Education quality calendar, supporting readiness for audit and review.
  • Work with curriculum and quality colleagues to share good practice and support continuous improvement activity.

Essential Criteria

  • A degree (or equivalent) and evidence of ongoing professional development.
  • Experience of quality assurance processes within Higher Education or a comparable education setting.
  • Working knowledge of the UK Higher Education regulatory and quality environment (e.g., OfS and QAA).
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Clear, confident written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders.
