DN Colleges Group is seeking a dedicated Online Digital Assessor to join our Adult Skills Online team. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with learners and employers across a broad regional area, helping adults gain the skills and qualifications they need to progress.
About The Role
This is a part‑time vacancy for 22.5 hours per week, work pattern can be flexible. Salary for this vacancy is pro‑rata £16,561 – £17,389 per annum. As an Online Digital Assessor you will work directly with learners and employers to guide them through their online programmes, supporting them from enrolment through to successful completion. You’ll provide assessment, undertake internal quality assurance tasks, maintain accurate records, and help promote adult learning opportunities across the region. The role involves a balance of remote work, local travel and occasional on‑site activity at our Doncaster and North Lindsey College campuses.
Essential Criteria
- Assessor/Verifier qualifications and a Level 2 qualification (or equivalent) in English and Maths
- Experience working within a digital role or digital learning environment
- Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to motivate adult learners
- Competence in using Microsoft Office and confidence with online systems
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with adult learners and employers, providing guidance, support and ongoing communication throughout the learning journey
- Plan, prepare and deliver assessment activities in line with college, funding and awarding body requirements
- Conduct reviews, verification tasks and quality assurance processes to support timely learner achievement
- Maintain accurate learner records, including attendance, progress tracking and evidence collection
- Contribute to curriculum development, team meetings, quality assurance activities and continuous professional development
- Promote the college’s training offer and collaborate with internal departments to support learner progress and referrals
