Are you passionate about shaping the future of learners in Business and Law? We are looking for a Business and Law Lecturer to join our team at Doncaster College. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality teaching, inspire students, and contribute to curriculum development within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

You will teach and assess students across Business and Law programmes, act as a Programme Tutor with pastoral responsibilities, and embed Functional Skills (English and Maths) within lessons. You will also use innovative teaching methods and digital technologies to engage learners and support their progression.

Essential Criteria
  • A relevant degree in Business Studies or equivalent qualification.
  • A recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one).
  • Minimum Level 2 in English and Maths.
  • Excellent subject knowledge and understanding of curriculum and quality frameworks.
  • Ability to embed Functional Skills and deliver outstanding teaching.
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning in Business and Law.
  • Plan and implement creative and inclusive teaching strategies, including online delivery.
  • Monitor student progress, attendance, and behaviour, taking appropriate action where necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records, including Individual Learning Plans and assessment data.
  • Participate in curriculum development, quality assurance, and promotional activities such as Open Days.
