Overview

Doncaster College is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Lecturer in Construction and the Built Environment to deliver high-quality teaching across our T Level and further/higher education programmes. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire the next generation of construction professionals in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver and assess a range of construction and built environment courses
  • Develop curriculum materials and contribute to subject area development
  • Lead or support course teams and ensure effective programme delivery
  • Support student recruitment, guidance, and progression
  • Participate in quality assurance, course verification, and curriculum planning
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievement
  • Engage in professional development and contribute to departmental improvement

Essential Criteria / Qualifications

  • A HNC/HND or degree in Construction Management or equivalent industry experience
  • Demonstrable industry experience
  • Experience in a lecturing or training role within FE or HE
  • Knowledge of innovative teaching methods and internal quality processes
  • Strong ICT skills and the ability to use digital tools in teaching
